Brynn, Where Are You!!

Welcome to a new edition of my newsletter. I’m sorry I’ve been out of touch, but I have been trying to keep my website, blog and Facebook up-to-date. If you don’t follow me already, I have both a Facebook and Twitter listed under Brynn Paulin. I always welcome new followers!

This month, I’m dividing the newsletter up into my upcoming events, single title releases and by series. You can quickly find info on what you like to read by checking the headings.

Authors After Dark

In September, I’ll be traveling to the Authors After Dark conference in Secaucus New Jersey. The event runs September 16 to 19. If you’re in the area, the book signing is open to the public from 2-4 on Saturday. I’d love to see you!!

New Series: Behind Sin’s Door

I’ve got the first book of a new series, coming up on September 6th. It will be in the Threefold Anthology at Total-e-bound. I’m very excited about this book as it also features a group of spectacular authors. Included are: Desiree Holt, Kris Norris, Suzanne Graham, Kim Dare and Charlotte Stein.

My book is Strangers in the Night. Here’s what it’s about:

The bar, Sin’s Door, has a reputation and McKenzie Stewart knows all about it. She’s been warned it’s nothing but a meat market, but meeting someone is exactly what she has in mind when she goes there one hot, September night. Little does she realize that she’ll meet not one but two men and experience pleasure that keeps her coming back for more.

Now…if that has you intrigued, here’s the overview of the series:

To many, Sin’s Door is just a bar, but those who dare to pass through the double red doors to the ‘inner sanctum’ discover the heady pleasures of their secret fantasies. Circle of Three Series

In case you missed it, the people of Cranston were back for Forgotten Family this past May at Total-e-bound. The next C3 book will appear next year. The book, called By the Book, will feature Cranston librarian Raisa Cranston. Raisa is cousin to the heroine of Forgotten Family.

Her heroes are two handsome scientists from Cranston Industries. If you liked the heroes and heroine from Boy Toys, this book will give you a look into what’s happening in their lives, now that they’ve moved to Cranston. Of course, you’ll get glimpses of other favorites. Stayed tuned for more updates as I get closer!

The Cress Books

“Are you writing a book about Francesca?” I get that question from people on a regular basis. Yes, I am. Unfortunately, Francesca is prickly and tricky. I’m fitting her in between other projects, and at the moment, she just isn’t ready to play nice. I’m hoping to have her to you in 2011—as long as she stops rejecting every man I throw her way! I plan for this book to be at Ellora’s Cave.

Cruentus Dragons Series

I’m so thrilled you love the dragons! These are some of my favorite characters. The next dragon book is slated to come your way in October. Blood of the Wolf is the story of Lucan, the younger brother to the hero in Dragon’s Blood. You’ll get to see more of Riven and Niko on this visit. They’re priming for their books and Niko says it’s about time! His book, Blood Games will be available in April.

Daly Way Series

Have you heard of Daly Way? Daly, Wyoming is a small town where the ratio is 20:1 with women in the minority. In order to cope, the men live by the Daly Way—and that means steamy hot ménage.

I’m excited to announce the arrival of the newest Daly Way book, Plays Well With Others. It became available on August 11 from Resplendence Publishing, and it’s had a wonderful reception. Here’s what it’s about:

Paisley Szuzman came to the Laurel Ridge Ranch in Daly, Wyoming to interview for an administrative position, but she’s shocked, and secretly aroused, to find that the job might entail more than she envisioned. Anyone filling this spot must meet the criteria of plays well with others, and the “others” are the men on the ranch— four hunky cowboys who are pure, rugged temptation. Bohemian to the core, Paisley takes the challenge and finds more in store for her than she ever imagined.

The next book in the series will appear in January 2011. It’s called Male Ordered and will feature characters from the first book in the series, Belonging to Them.

Writing Plays Well With Others was a trip! I had to learn all about ranching—including the ins and outs of how to fix a fence. This was big task for a girl who’s only been on a horse once in her whole life! I learned so much, and I loved every bit of it. I’m really excited for my next ranching “excursion” to Daly Way which will take place in February. Look for Briar’s Cowboys followed later in the year by Corralled and Claimed.

The Redemption Series

You may not remember this one… The Redemption books are a three-book collection about Demons and Fallen Angels. The first, Fallen came out in December of 2007. The second, Incubus came out in 2008. In the meantime, I have revised and added to Fallen, adding scenes and increasing the size of the book by half. Look for it to be re-released from Total-e-bound in December of this year. A new installment in the series, Black and White, will be available in early 2011, with the whole series—including a revised Incubus—available in print next year.

Taboo Wishes Series

What’s Your Fantasy? That’s my tag line and with the Behind Sin’s Door books at Total-e-bound and the Taboo Wishes at Resplendence Publishing, I strive to give you exactly that. Fantasy. Erotic secret fantasy.

I’m pleased to announce that the Taboo Wishes series will be continuing at Resplendence both this year and throughout 2011. Next up, we have the tale of Zach Colvin and his Christmas surprise in Yule Tied Greetings. You may recognize the last name from Kidnap and Kink. Zach is Rob’s younger brother. Here’s what the book’s about:

Zach Colvin never believed in Santa, so filling in as Santa at the mall for one of his friends is not making his holiday bright. He’s supposed to be on vacation, not working. When his brother promises to send him a package full of “holiday cheer” he never expected it to be a box containing a naked woman.

I feel that maybe I should point out for those of you who noticed the librarian coming up in Circle of Three… I do not have a librarian fetish. It’s just how the books worked out, lol. The circumstances are far removed from one another. But both steamy hot.

Single Title Releases Coming Up

I have releases coming up from Resplendence Publishing that aren’t related to any of my series.

First up is Seven Ribbons that will be released in December. Here’s what it’s about:

Maddie and Jacob have been committed to each other for seven years. During the course of their relationship, they’ve been monogamous, though each have fantasized occasionally about the dangerous stranger or having a third in bed with them. They’ve never indulged; they’ve never been daring beyond some low-level kink.

Next year, be on the lookout for my Moon books. Resplendence will have a special collection of books next year. On the first Wednesday of each month, one of six authors will have a book featuring the moon phase for the month. Each book will be a shape-shifter novella, featuring super hot ménage action.

The authors are: Cheryl Dragon, Kris Norris, Mia Watts, Bronwyn Green, Abigail Barnette and me. My books will be out in September (Harvest’s Pride) and December (Long Night’s Moon). I’ll be bringing you some sensuous big cat shifters to keep you warm that fall.

Some Like It Hot…

I like it hotter! Not the weather really, but I sure do like my books hot. And I’ve been going full steam ahead since I got back from the Romantic Times Convention. Wow, Florida was awesome! I left mid-thirty degree weather here at home and landed in the mid-eighties. What a pleasant system shock!

What else is hot? Well, what about fire breathing heroes? This is real-live fire, not a metaphor. The Dragons of the Cruentus Clan are about to burst onto the scene and they’ve sure notched up my temperature while writing them. Add to that a bunch of hot action between a knight and his squire in my upcoming time travel, and I need a fan. This summer is just going to get hotter!

Lions and Tigers and…Dragons?

Sooo… Do you like shape-shifters? Dragons? The first book in the Cruentus Dragons series, Dragon’s Blood, will be released August 11 by Resplendence Publishing. Here’s what it’s all about:

Play it AGAIN Sam!!

I have several books being re-released this summer by Total-e-bound.

These stories were originally part of anthologies but can now be picked up on their own.

First up is Boy Toys will be available once again on August 3. This story, originally in the Brit Party anthology, is an anthology connected to my Circle of Three series. Two of the secondary characters in it are featured in my next book in that series.

At the end of August, Legend will be revisited. My stories, A Legend Arises and A Legend Accomplished will be released together on August 31st. Do you believe in reincarnation and the power of fate and magic? You might after the Legend captures you. (And I must add – I really, really like this reworked version of the cover!)

At Last…Everyone Needs a Knight

I’m thrilled to announce, Single White Knight will be available from Total-e-bound on September 14th. Happy birthday to me a few days late! Wyn and Toby have been begging me for their book for a whole two years, and I finally get to show their story to the world.
